5. Why should the equipment be installed with a transformer
For example, the Chinese standard three-phase industrial voltage is 380V, and the Japanese standard three-phase voltage is 200V.
If a 30KW Japanese equipment is imported to China for use, the equipment must be equipped with a 40KVA 380V three-phase 200V transformer; On the contrary, if the Chinese equipment is exported to Japan, the equipment must be installed with a three-phase 200V to three-phase 380V transformer
6. Prepare for installation
Prepare A 3M long 5-core input cable, input cable requirements: 3M long, national standard 5-core cable, the square number is purchased according to the equipment current requirements, equipment power (KW)÷ transformer input voltage (V)÷1.732 = current (A), 1 square with 4A current; The cable is mainly connected with three-phase live wire, neutral wire and ground wire.
7. Observe the onsite installation environment
7.1 Check whether the number of switch A on the wall is consistent with the load device, whether the on-off contact of the switch is good, so the line value voltage is normal.
7.2 Test the mains power of the transformer with a multimeter, and the normal range is within 380V plus or minus 10V. The level of the input will directly affect the level of the transformer output, if out of range should remind the customer is best to install a voltage regulator, so as to avoid the instability of the voltage equipment electronic hardware burned out.
7.3 Observe the temperature, humidity, oil mist and dust in the air within 10 meters of the transformer installation location. If the standard will affect the service life of the transformer, please improve the customer.
8. Start connecting cables
8.1 Connect one end of the 3m 5-core cable prepared in advance to the switch on the wall, which are respectively 3-phase 380V live wire, ground wire and neutral wire. The transformer does not need to work with neutral wire and does not need to be introduced. If the device needs neutral wire, it can be introduced from the wall distribution switch box to the transformer.
8.2 Then connect the other end of the 5-core cable to the input end marked with 380V voltage label of the transformer, and then power on to test whether the output voltage is correct.
8.3 Then connect the load device to the output end of the transformer marked with 200V voltage.
9. Inspection test
When all lines are connected, check again, power on the load no-load test, to know whether the phase sequence of the equipment is correct, whether the work is normal, and the installation is complete.
